A Transfer Certificate or TC is required by the student who leaves an educational institution and is willing to pursue education from another educational institution. There are two cases when TC is required from school: first, if the student passes out of the school or college and second if the student has to leave a school due to some issues.

In both cases, an Application for TC is required to be submitted to the school authorities and is usually addressed to the Principal. Another instance when TC is required is when a student opts for higher studies and a TC is required from the college to be submitted to the next institution.

Application for TC after 12th
