(i) Merit list for selection for appointment to the post of constable in Bihar Police / Bihar Military Police and other units ‘Combined total obtained by the candidate in all three events, i.e. running, high jump and shot put under physical efficiency test will be prepared on the basis of marks. In the case of two or more candidates obtaining the same marks in the Physical Eligibility / Efficiency Test, their place in the merit list will be determined on the basis of their dates of birth, and in the case of two or more candidates obtaining the same marks and having the same date of birth in, on the basis of their educational qualification. Thus, in case of candidates having higher age, and having the same marks and same date of birth, the candidate with higher educational qualifications will be placed higher in the merit list.
(ii) In case of equality of educational qualification, the one who obtains more marks in the minimum qualifying examination (Intermediate and equivalent) prescribed for the post shall be placed higher in the order of merit.
