Delhi Police Head Constable Syllabus and Pattern 2023

Before getting started with the Delhi Police Head Constable Syllabus 2023, a prospective candidate first needs to understand the pattern of the Delhi Police Head Constable Exam. In this section, we will tell you precisely that.

The Delhi Police releases vacancies each year that are filled through a selection process conducted by the Staff Selection Commission or SSC. The selection process consists of four rounds for both AWO/TPO as well as Ministerial. They are: 

  • Computer-Based Objective Type Test (CBT)
  • Physical Endurance and Measurement Test
  • Trade Test
  • Computer Proficiency Test

Of the above four, the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Trade Test and Computer Proficiency Test are qualifying rounds, whereas the CBT is a competitive round. Thorough knowledge of Delhi Police Head Constable Syllabus 2023 will be required for any candidate who is willing to appear for the Computer-Based Objective Type Test (CBT).

The Paper will be divided into five parts that include General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, and Computer Fundamentals. The total time given to each candidate will be 90 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial). However, there is no deduction of marks for wrong answers in the Delhi Police Head Constable test. There will be 100 questions in total.

Points to remember while preparing for Delhi Police Head Constable 2023

The following points regarding Delhi Police Head Constable Syllabus and exam pattern 2023 must be remembered while preparing for the exam

  • You will be given only 90 minutes to attempt the paper
  • There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam
  • Attempting all questions is compulsory
  • One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
  • 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer for Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial)
  • No marks will be deducted for wrong answers for Delhi Police Head Constable Syllabus (AWO/TPO)

Delhi Police Head Constable PET and PMT

The physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test take place after a candidate has cleared the CBT. The requirements to pass the two tests are different for Males and Females.
