The Delhi Police releases vacancies each year that are filled through a selection process conducted by the Staff Selection Commission or SSC. The selection process consists of four rounds for both AWO/TPO as well as Ministerial. They are:
Of the above four, the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Trade Test and Computer Proficiency Test are qualifying rounds, whereas the CBT is a competitive round. The Paper will be divided into five parts that include General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, and Computer Fundamentals. The total time given to each candidate will be 90 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial). However, there is no deduction of marks for wrong answers in the Delhi Police Head Constable test. There will be 100 questions in total.
