IBPS PO 2023 Details
IBPS PO stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer. It is a prestigious and highly sought-after annual exam for the selection of suitable candidates for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee. All the major public sector banks participate in the selection process except SBI. A total of 11 banks [participate in the process.
The exam aims to fill the vacancies in participating banks with qualified and skilled candidates. The selection process consists of two rounds of examination – Preliminary and Main. The candidates who qualify for both the Pre and Mains Exam are then required to appear for the interview.

Eligibility
The Eligibility of IBPS PO is as follows
- A candidate must be either – (i) a Citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin. - The minimum age required is 20 years and the maximum age of the candidate must be 30 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is given.
- A compensatory time of 20 minutes will be provided for PwD candidates

About IBPS
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It is an entity which falls under the Union Government’s Finance Ministry. It was formed in 1975 with the aim of providing recruitment services to the nationalised banks and Financial Institutions (including NBFCs) for its Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D posts.
