REET Full Form, Eligibility and Selection Process
REET Full Form, as you by now already know, is the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. The REET Exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan (BSER), Ajmer. The REET exam is conducted to recruit qualified and eligible teachers for Primary State Government Schools for Classes 1 to 8.
The REET exam is only a qualifying exam. Qualifying for the REET exam does not guarantee you a job in State Government Schools. Qualifying for the REET exam simply means that you are now eligible to teach in primary classes of Government Schools.
As soon as the government schools release vacancies, you will have to apply for them. If you make it through the selection process, you will be able to teach primary school students. Also, after qualifying for REET, the certificate of qualification remains valid for 3 Years.
There are two levels in REET. Level 1 is for the eligibility of Teachers for classes 1 to 5. Level 2, on the other hand, is for the eligibility of Teachers for classes 6 to 8. Level and Nature of Questions Asked in REET:
Since now you know the REET Full Form and Eligibility, we, in this section, tell you about the nature of the questions asked.
- Child development and teaching methods question paper about educational psychology related to reading and reading level of children aged 6 to 11 years, various mental levels of students, their needs, interaction with them and qualities and characteristics of a good teacher etc. Questions to test understanding will be asked.
- In the question paper of Language-I, questions will be asked to test the proficiency related to the written language at the time of filling out the application. Which he has shown in the application form.
- Language II must be selected from the language list mentioned in the application form only. Which he/she has indicated in the application form, but this language will be different from the language selected as I.
